From One Backyard to Hundreds
Oakmont ADU started when our founders built an ADU on their own property and discovered how broken the process was โ confusing permits, surprise costs, and zero accountability.
They set out to build a company that does it differently: one team handles everything from your first sketch to your final walkthrough, with transparent pricing and genuine care.
Today, we've completed over 200 ADUs across Southern California, each built with the same hands-on attention we gave to that very first project.

We visit your property, evaluate lot feasibility, review zoning and setback requirements, assess utility access, and determine exactly what's possible. You'll receive a detailed feasibility report โ completely free.
Week 1 โ Free, No Obligation

Design & Architecture
Choose a pre-designed model or work with our architects on a fully custom plan. We finalize floor plans, elevations, finishes, and structural engineering โ all tailored to your property.
Weeks 2โ5

Permitting
Our team handles everything: drawing submissions, Title 24 energy compliance, structural engineering, and all communication with your local building department.
Weeks 5โ12 (varies by city)

Site Preparation
Once permitted, we prepare your site โ grading, foundation, utility trenching, and any demolition needed. Our crews manage all subcontractors and inspections.
Weeks 12โ14

Construction
Experienced crews handle framing, roofing, MEP systems, insulation, drywall, finishes, and landscaping. Weekly progress updates through your personal project portal.
Weeks 14โ22

Final Inspection & Move-In
We coordinate final inspections, handle utility connections, perform a deep clean, and walk you through every feature. You get the keys โ and a 10-year structural warranty.
